What's Happening
in July

Holiday & Furlough Closures in July: The Library will be closed July 3-6. We are closed Friday and Saturday for the Independence Day holiday. We are closed Monday, July 6, as a furlough day. Learn more about the City of Longview's furlough program. Have a happy and safe 4th of July!

Summer Reading: The theme for the summer is Be Creative! Program events begin the week of June 22. Kids and teens who want to track their reading for fun and prizes can register anytime online or in person. No registration is necessary to attend summer reading program events.

Creative Competitions: As part of the Express Yourself teen summer reading program, middle- and high-school students are invited to enter their creative talents in a number of contests happening this summer, including Battle of the Bands, Teen Gallery, and more. Get the details and submit your entry form now!

Consumer Reports is now available in electronic form through the Library's database subscription. Access expert reviews and buyer's guides with the click of a mouse. The Consumer Reports subscription can be accessed in the library via our Online Database Computers. Longview Library cardholders can also access Consumer Reports from home.
