Celebrate Teen Read Week, with the best of the best of book trailers, including the ALA YALSA Teens Top Ten. Priority screening to any locally produced videos. Like movie trailers, or MTV music videos, Book Trailers are a short teaser for a book. Some are professionally made, but many high-quality trailers are made by teens, using freeware like Vine or Prezi. Learn more about the warrior tradition, from the Revolutionary War to Navajo Code Talkers to military service in Iraq. Hear stories, meet a Native veteran, and make a card for our WA state Native American veterans. The National Native American Veterans Association Moccasin Project will be shared.
